Griddled Gambon

We love fish and shellfish of all kinds. and living in Spain has enabled us to try many different types.

The Gambon I used to make this with are HUGE! I have however used smaller ones and they all work perfectly!

The flavours I always use are fresh ginger and garlic, I grate them to ensure they mix through the prawns properly. Along with a splash of fish sauce (I always use Worcestershire sauce), S&P, olive oil and a squeeze of lime juice, you have a tasty quick lunch to finish off in a flash! As an extra addition especially if the little people aren’t joining us, I sprinkle in a few chili flakes also.

Sizzling Gambon

I always prepare these early in the morning and leave them in the fridge for at least a couple of hours to ensure that the flavour infuse. I find the easiest way to store them whilst chilling, is in a zip lock freezer bag which keeps all the flavours in and keeps the flavours out of the fridge at the same time!
