Pumpkin Bowl for serving soup

Equipment

  • Baking tray
  • Large sharp knife
  • Melon baller or strong metal spoon
  • Oven set to about 200 deg C
  • Pastry brush

Materials

  • 1 medium Pumpkin
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 sprig Fresh rosemary

Instructions

  • Cut the top off the pumpkin
  • Using a melon baller, scrape the seeds and stringy bits out of the main body of the pumpkin
  • Brush the inside with olive oil and season with S&P and pop in the sprig of rosemary
  • Place the main pumpkin on a baking tray with the lid to the side and bake for about 40 mins to an hour until the inside is soft.
