Twisters de Gambas

Equipment

  • Frying pan
  • sharp knife
  • Chopping board
  • Draining spatula
  • Paper towel

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Ready made Filo pastry
  • 20-30 Fresh cooked peeled prawns
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Small Bunch Fresh Chives
  • 1 medium Free range egg - Beaten

Instructions

  • Lay 3 sheets of pastry on top of each other and cut into 3 triangles
  • Lay 2-3 prawns and a sprinkle of chopped chives on each triangle in a line and wrap the pastry around them folding and twisting to seal the prawns and chives within
  • Brush each twister with a beaten egg
  • Heat oil in a shallow frying pan
  • Place 3 - 4 of your twisters in the pan and cook until golden turning over to cook both sides
